Professional licensing laws exist to protect the health, safety and welfare of all Floridians.

Unfortunately, unlicensed activity exists in virtually every profession. These unlicensed individuals cause extensive physical and monetary damage to Florida's citizens every year. They choose not to comply with state law for a variety of reasons:

§ May not be able to meet the financial requirements.
§ May not be able to pass a background screening. § May not meet the education or experience (skill) requirements.
§ May not meet the worker's compensation and/or liability insurance requirements.
§ May not want to abide by the rules of their chosen profession, or the laws established by the legislature for the protection of the public.
